Me too. But, this said, I find your analogy quite apt. From "Bad Taste" to "The
Lord of the Rings", quite a career I'd say. Thanks for the information regarding
Lantana. I am a sucker for "rich performances", so I will look out for it. Also,
I think the discussion of "song and dance numbers" and the deliberate use of
anachronisms ("Smells like Teen Spirit" in Moulin Rouge is an anachronism, no?)
makes this thread not wholly irrelevant to the works of Thomas Pynchon.
