Here's an alternate-historical dilemma.  Given the
possibility/probability that only one of these might
have been made, which Peter Jackson film would you opt
for: King Kong, Planet of the Apes, or The Lord of the
Rings Trilogy?  Maybe we are living in that
Leibnizian/Panglossary "best of all worlds," at that,
but only by a hair's breadth.  But I'm still
contemplating that David Lynch Return of the Jedi
(Lucas offered, but he opted for Dune instead) ...
