As we all realise, Barbara, opinion polls are notorious for twisting
information. It depends on how the questions are framed, and often the
person or organisation conducting the survey will manipulate the wording to
"prove" any conclusion they want. In the survey from the article you cited
the two choices given were not mutually exclusive: those surveyed "preferred
extradition and trial of suspects to a US attack", but the question seems to
have ignored the problem of how that "extradition and trial" was to be
achieved. I think you will still find that a vast majority of people in all
countries across the globe supported the military intervention - whether 90%
is a moot point, and somewhat irrelevant now that the international alliance
has largely achieved its aim - certainly their governments and the UN did,
perhaps over 90% thereof.
But seeing as you've brought up the topic of spreading misinformation and
false data, how about a retraction and apology for all your '7 and a half
million Afghanis are as good as dead' rants?
