Isn't it true that the Bush administration will halt  bombing during
Ramadan? 

You know, quite a few Orthodox Christians haven't failed to notice that
the the USA is very sensitive to Muslim holy days, but bombed Orthodox
Christians on the holiest day of the Orthodox calendar--Easter . Of
course, for most Americans, it was not Easter, the calendars were not
aligned that year. 

Ramamdan is the  ninth month of the year in the Moslem calendar. It's a
time to fast. A 
fast is held from sunrise to sunset. During this time the diet is very
strict, so the Aid workers, supported by the USA, are going to bring in
food on the ground and by air that is more suitable.  But first, the USA
has argued, air supremacy needs to be establsihed. If this happens,
fewer people will die in Afghanistan this winter than last winter.
