'Everybody must get laid...' Dylan, right? Oh, no that's 'stoned-everybody
must get stoned.' It's 'lay lady lay' that's Dylan. But shouldn't it be "get
lain?" Being the past participle of lie. Cus only geese can lay down, no?
Ducks too. But only geese and ducks. Other water fowl perhaps. But that's
it. Lay-laid...lie-lain...get lain.

Speaking as one of the few, the proud...

I don't believe we should be singled out. Besides, as this is a virtual
community, no one's ever sure of a list member's sex, except of course their
own. The majority of posters could be women. And who knew?

But this was written in the spirit of generosity, so thank you.
