yourself--or have you been parodying Doug all along?  Ah, yes, it's genius!
So subtle at first, but now escalated to pure slap-stick.  The use here of
the lighter word "folks" (instead of people) is an especially nice touch.
Well done.  But I worry that parody may not be the best approach to
countering Doug's arguments, even when performed with your obvious
skill--it's kind of a straw-man tactic, wouldn't you say?
