Hey! HBO's "Band of Brothers" is actually pretty good; so is the A&E 
"Horatio Hornblower" stuff. Of course, my tongue was a bit in my 
cheek -- I don't think any artistic team would have the ability to 
take on M&D for TV, nor do I think any network would allow it! Call 
it a fantasy of mine, right up there with the 18-hour Ulysses with 
each segment conceived and filmed by a different director.

Yeah, that I would love to see! Scored of course entirely for banjos.
