nation and your sex.  I envy your erudition.  I am half in love with you.  
Alas, I am pledged to celibacy.  But I digress.  Why do you like Doug so 
much?  Is is only politics?  Or do you defend the underdog?  An trait most 
admirable in the Yankees.  ( a trait I must say, saved our asses from Hitler 
).  But that is (as you yanks so bluntly put it) history.  
I think it must be the politics.  You and Doug must stop this protracted 
conflict against the goons.  They have their place.  I have set myself up as 
the mediator.  I will be glad to mediate to "save the List" (as they so 
direfully imply).  Oh yes, I know all.  I am
