Thanks for the punctuation check, Miyamoto-san.
You'd think, by now, the dogpack would realize that when I say I'm not
lying, I can support the claim with textual evidence in the face of their
bootless denials or obfuscations. I'll admit that it's actually kind of
fun making them look so foolish and demonstrating their untruthfulness and
watchin their claims sputter and fizzle.
Consider Quail, for example, he was involved in the P-list discussion in
October 2000, at the time that rj/rjackson/jbor/? and kai were taunting
with those anti-Semitic slurs -- either he doesn't remember, or for some
reason he just feels the need to speak up and defend that behavior.
Perhaps he doesn't intend to defend anti-Semitic taunts, or maybe he
doesn't remember them -- then it's too bad he didn't take a moment to check
it out before calling me a liar. Or, maybe he's just looking for an
opportunity to call me a liar, no matter what the truth of the situation
might be.
And now consider Mackin. He defended rj/rjackson/jbor/? and kai when this
came up before, too. I guess he welcomes anti-Semitic epithets in the
Pynchon-L discussion the way he welcomes anti-American epithets -- but hey
this is a free country, and an unmoderated email discussion, after all,
and isn't it a crying shame the way these politically correct types have
spoiled the fun for folks who like their humor on the hurtful end of the
spectrum. He's been right in there with the misogynist crowd dumping on
Barbara, here he comes again with his defense of the anti-Semites .... know
any good McCarthy or CIA jokes, Paul? Got any funny anti-Arab stories to
share with us today? Spread that humor, indeed.
