Subject: some thoughts on day 1
I'm very tired. I realize I've been thinking about this
thing for 30 hours, even sleeping. But your message is so
thoughtful, it deserves a reaction.
I mostly agree with you. You hit a sensible point when you
say:
> It would probably be useful to examine our Middle East policy. Why do
> the Arabs in general and the Palestinians in particular hate the US so.
For years to now I have been wondering why North Americans
do not worry about the growing feeling of hate and resentment
everywhere in the world. Here, in Italy, many people remember
the episode of that USAF airplane cutting the cable of a
funicular and killing everyone inside. US didn't let us to
have those soldiers for trial. They behaved like our bosses.
> I do believe an intelligence system is necessary, but it should be used

Maybe, the reformers are the only ones really dangerous -
to Them.
> All countries should unite in taking terrorists to court, preferrably in
> an international court of justice for crimes against humanity.

Thank you for your words.
