Very like the concept of the Godhead in the creation
spirituality of Meister Eckhart.  If you can think it,
it's not God; God is beyond all human categories. 
Eckhart teaches that you can experience God, however,
but not in a way that human language can apprehend;
words, metaphors, can only approximate or point
towards the direct experence of God.  See also Thomas
Merton, especially his book, New Seeds for
Contemplation.
