some thoughts on day 1

Pinch and Swallow....
      I vote to move forward with M&D (love that ampersand).  The best of 
this list can be a beacon of sanity in an otherwise insane planet.  Let's see 
now, hasn't the profoundly disturbing primal fear of being vaporized at the 
speed of light without any blink of a last delta-t warning been a seriously 
paranoid theme of any writer we may all seriously appreciate ?  Maybe we 
should count our blessings that we or our loved ones are not the victims of 
such assaults on a daily basis, as in the allied bombings of Europe.  "F__kt 
nicht mit dem Raketemensch!", I believe was the admonishment.  Now just how 
did he "know"?
