Technical Difficulties

Okay, finagled a little access time today, should be
fully functional again tonight, but, in the meantime,
again, a slow and tenuous connection at best.  I can
see I might have generated a few responses here, but,
being pressed for time, I'm going to catch up after
I've managed to send off at least the better-realized
notes I'd intended to post, although, again, I'm going
to get in the short, sharp shots first, so ...
