In the summer I spend hours sitting on the steps into a pool sipping a cool 
beverage and reading.  I sure wish someone would produce books with plastic 
covers and "tyvek" pages.  Lacking that, I've decided it's best to consider 
my books expendable, and to buy mostly paperbacks, when available.
