Oh I agree with you, actually. I have multiple trade paper copies of all my
Pynchon (and other authors I collect) that I actually *use*. My GR
collection, my firsts of Vineland and M&D, a little "folio" of Mortality and
Mercy in Vienna published by a London outfit, the previously mentioned
library editions of CoL49 and V. - all those I hold purely for display and
in the hopes they might bring my grandchildren a few bucks some day.
