>Terrance:
>The idea that Angles are free from sin has been hotly debated for
>centuries. What Angels are, what they do, when they are present or were
>present on earth, if they are sexual beings or not, if they eat, shit,
>dream, die, so on, has been argued about from the Primitive Church to
>today.

*Implied eating* (But I'd say this is supposed to be poetic, not literal,
though we are instructed to feed stangers on the possibility that they're
actually angels):
Psa 78:25 Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.

*Guardian*:
Psa 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all
thy ways.

*Sex?* (no marriage anyway):
Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in
marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

*Sin Potential* (Lucifer is the fallen, sinning arch-angel):
Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from
me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels

But then again, what does orthodoxy have to do with anything anyway? This
is Pynchon.
