So what?
He switched to English Lit. and started writing novels.
So what?
He was abducted by aliens and was experimented upon.
So what?
He travelled to Tibet and studied levitation for 26 years.
So what?
He went back in Time and saw Mason just before he died.
So what?
Now seriously, Pynchon's concern is the human condition. Machines and mechanical structures mostly promote death in his work. And I believe Pynchon is pro-life.
