Geomancy in the News

Today’s local fish-wrap includes a short item labeled as "from news service 
reports" about 400 Vietnamese villagers who held three farmers from a 
neighboring village hostage.  The villagers claim the three farmers 
disturbed the "geomantic flow" and caused deaths and injuries by building 
family graves too close to the village.  The article states "geomancy is the 
belief that people are affected by subtle energies in nature and by the 
placement of natural and manmade objects."
