Terrance is forever the big tease. He's got interesting things to say, but
he's aggressively coy about it. He knew that anybody with a brain would
object to his calling Pynchon a Christian, and he really only meant it in a
FAR less than literal way. But he kept on about it, playing provocateur.
Eventually he'll say what he really means, but not if you ask him directly.
When he finally does, though, it is usually worth his cat & mouse game (he
plays both cat and mouse roles alternately).
