thanks for your kind reply and I hope I haven't been too harsh in my reply
to the Pynchon list.

I have sent my message to Counterpunch too in order *not* to talk about
Jeffrey behind his back so he's got a chance to answer me.

And I agree in your criticism of Ariel Sharon (Sabra, Shatila & Jenin won't
be forgotten) but you will understand that as a German (with one fascist
grandfather) I am always very careful before I call another person,
especially non-Germans, and even more the Israeli Prime Minister, a fascist.
