What have I to do with that argument? What I had to say to Toby I did in
only one post, politely and flame-free, offering only my opinion as he had
done. I'm still missing the information if Millison has read anything by
Gaddis, a great American novelist who, as Terrance has said, is "ahead of
the class" which I had agreed too. If Millison hasn't read Gaddis (Toby
obviously did) his hagiographic opinion expressed above ("peer") is not
interesting to me because he simply cannot know if Gaddis is as good as
Pynchon. By the way a good reason to join the Gaddis-list, no Millison
there.

Under another thread I have given the information that Nikolaus Stingl has
translated not only "Mason & Dixon" but Gaddis' "A Frolic of His Own"
before, which might have been *one* reason that Pynchon had accepted Stingl
I guess.

I didn't answer to Millison further in that thread because the only thing he
would have done would be picking on my bad English, something he can't do
with MalignD. Instead he's picking on a typing error (how cheap) and still
calls himself flame-free.

But I wish you guys would stop to talk about faked personalities. It can't
be proven and if someone feels the need to betray him/herself  by doing so
he/she should free to do so. I don't believe that Millison is Toby.

I have read the "Chinesische Volkszeitung" in the seventies, weekly German
edition.
