Thanks for the object lesson, Keith.   You've demonstrated at least a
couple of things -- how easy it is to stimulate and maintain a fun
discussion in which people can disagree without getting too bent out of
shape about it, and I've tried to follow this good example during this
thread.  And, you've demonstrated how easy it is to turn the discussion
here into some sort of quest for vengeance, pay-back, tit-for-tat,
something that many of us here know how to do and have demonstrated that
ability time and again.

So, do you want to move ahead in a positive, constructive way with the
Pynchon discusssion, or do you want to continue to call out one particular
P-lister among so many who use similar tactics here?
