which appears in translation in the feb 2002 issue of Harpers Magazine.

the idea that we harbor such fantasies of epic destruction of the WTC and 
are the root cause of a bunch of crazies doesn't jive here in NYC.  J.B. 
mistakes images that the western media puts forth as some sort of reflection 
of our deepest desires. Lots of it is just crass and tacky entertainment, i 
would argue. At least parts of White Noise was funny.

Systems analysis on a global scale does not a philosophy make.
