M&D:the LED's possible relative from Russia

 Here is the note for those,who like to notice parallels between famous 
novels.In the russian cult novel "Master & Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov 
(1940) there is a character named Behemoth the Cat.He ,like the LED, combines 
intellect, ability to speak and things like that with animal's habits (you 
remember "pausing for nasal inquiris"). Plus both demand respect from people 
and both are "exhibited" as Mr. Jellow would have said, by rather eccentric 
characters.Check the proper translation of Bulgakov to make sure.
