It'd be the first interview he's granted to a journalist in that time, the
fax exchange with David Hadju notwithstanding. For forty years he's
studiously avoided making any sort of public pronouncement of this type, was
my point. And, the banality of the content of the "interview", and the fact
that it seems to be two or three months old and didn't surface anywhere else
- except on this list, of course - certainly gives due cause to doubt its
relevance, at least, if not indeed its authenticity.
