Why does P create such a character, Gershom? Good question.

I have no problem accepting the SDjr connection as one of the layers, but
what
about all the mystical/kabby stuff? What's that about, not just a
"remembrancer"
of GR, is it? What's the take home here?
So far I'm liking my quantum/classical transition with it's introduction of
irreversible time, more. The novel has transitioned from a wave function with
a certain undefined potential, to a expanding fractal. Kind of like the
expanding
universe just after inflation ended. It's significant, no, that Lewis tried
to palm
off on the boys a mystical apparatus for time measurement, and, that Gershom
may also be a practitioner of older, less scientific means of gauging reality?
I'm still working on the "scientific" symbollism, but I'm sort of depending
on the
rest of you foax to decode the mystico/religious stuff. I'm completely out of
my comfort zone with the literary/criticism/art references, so...
