Gershom in Amerika

This may be (late) stretching it a bit, but as Dave mentioned Gershom
Scholem, I get the link
Gershom-G.Scholem-(who of course kept connecting Kabbalism to)Kafka

"Investigations of a [Learned English] Dog", heh well...and how'bout
those quite K.'esque experiences of Dixon with the Castle (has anyone
made anything out of them, by the way?)

Last but not least in this context, the languages of both the LED and
Gershom remind me of what Deleuze&Guattari call "minority literature"
just in connection with Kafka and the German language: stifled groups
appropriating (and unsettling) the language of the dominant culture.
