recently i stumbled into a local coffee-shop where they sell drugs ... there 
are more than hundred all over the city, and in lots of them you can not only 
buy cannabis yet also stuff like speed, xtc or acid ... me - believe this or not 
- just wanted to have a coffee before the movies and hadn't had realized at 
first glance the shop's true purpose ... anyway, i came to talk with the people 
and understood soon that this was one of the dives run by the russian mafia 
(who is, by the way, not without influence in local hamburg politics) ... while 
the guy doing the drug dealing was quite talkative and witty, the girl who 
served, perhaps 18 years old, didn't understand german at all ... related to 
this she often brought people the wrong drink which didn't really matter because 
consumers weren't in for the beverages at all ... the russian girl, when she 
didn't bring things, kept looking to the floor most of the time ... now, she 
didn't have blue spots in her face or anything but it was obvious that it wasn't 
exactly her free will to serve there ... smuggled into the country these women 
do, more often than not, have to work sooner or later as prostitutes against 
their own will ... no passport, no foreign languages, no friends ... just pimps 
& arms dealers ... these women - and of course the albanian mafia and other 
international cooperations of organized crime are doing it just the same - are 
the european slaves of the 21. century ... no heroic dixon deed of the dude 
writing this here today ... kfl
