"System" needs further exploration to distinguish it from 
"consciously" man made structures..........Which will loop us back 
to "cyclical" historiography and my main man Oswald 
Spengler....but I understand that at least one lister (and you know 
who you are) finds the association unpalatable, so I will need to 
brush up on my DECLINE chops before engaging.......
