As have I, and, no doubt, as has Doug. As pretty much
anyone posting here continues to do, I imagine. But I
also generally read the posts as well, at least if I'm
going to respond to them. Seems only common courtesy,
if nothing else. So, er, how am I "full of shit"
here? Despite a recent preoccupation with the subject
(defecation, that is) ...
I point out that, later in the novel, not only is
Dixon is indeed shown in an act of active, aggressive,
violent, even, resistance, but that there is possibly
an historical basis for the episode? This is "full of
shit"? From what I can tell, I'm cutting to the chase
in support of yr general contention, albeit not yr
general contentiousness ...

Er, and what was that case again ...? Let me know.
But I didn't realize this was a competition, much less
a team sport. Will have speaks with my agent ...

Nope, Terrance, wrong this time, at least. Shit, HAVE
YOU READ MY POST? "Re: MDMD Dixon's nonviolence,"
that is. Not archived yet, else I'd provide a link,
but it's recent enough I see no need to repost it.
Should be in the Digest shortly, so ... so see you
last week of April, then? Must ... see ... Cloaca ...
