No Dave, it's a great book, it's really well written. I've read the trilogy
(aloud) twice in the last four years, even been to the cinema to watch the
movie. Millions of children all over the world love her anarchy for
generations now. She's important for children to build up self-esteem.
Give her a try, get a niece, nephew or a neighbour child and start to read.
Personally I prefer the Bullerbü-children, but I'm sentimental.
