I should have used my reference to Jenin as an example of
an event which is disputed by both sides, speaking to the
larger issue of sharp differences of opinion between Israel
and the Arab world on the Palestine issue, rather than
implying Jenin was the focus of the prince's comments. My
wonder was about what Bush was ignorant about, and whether
this was real ignorance of facts or a difference of opinion
on the matter of Palestine.
