In a short while (after I get back from voting) the list will return
to its natural state. Please fasten your seatbelts.

As moderation has failed to cool the hotter heads and generally proved
unpopular, we'll be falling back to WASTE's abuse policy. If you've got
a problem, write to owner-pynchon-l and potsmaster at waste.org with the
details, including corroborating email (with full headers please). If
we find it risable (meaning threats or repeated harassment), we'll
issue a warning. I've already issued a couple. Murthy's "knock it
off!" still stands too.

We won't bother with warnings for anyone using disposable accounts for
flaming (don't think you're fooling us). I've turned off some of the
filtering on email headers so sleuths at home can play along.
