 soldiers in soiled fatigues on the cold steps of
monuments 
charity
Freaks from the ward 
mint green ragged and stained
blown by the winds 
like rusted soup can tongues flapping disdain
on the street 
wandering
back and forth and up and down 
like yo-yos on the A train
