SLSL Intro "The Way of Communication"

I guess the point I was making is that if it comes down to a choice between
someone like Millison or that Cockburn guy from bitchslap.com, and Bush,
then, like most people, Bush will get my vote every time. It seems that, in
the public imagination at least, the conservatives are just better than the
mainstream left at creating a distance between themselves and the zealots
and loonies hovering around the fascist fringes at either end of the
political spectrum.

Pynchon's sympathies lie with most people.
