Delillo (was something or other about slaggin' pynchon's non-pre-nobel)

Delillo's sort of all over the map for me, but I associate him as Joseph McElroy's understudy before I link him at all with Pynchon.  Mr D has even followed McElroy's thematic patterns, as it were:

The Letter Left to Me  =   The Body Artist

Women and Men  =  Underworld

Plus   =  Ratner's Star

Ancient History: A Paraphase  =  The Names/Players/White Noise

Lookout Cartridge  =  Mao II/White Noise/Libra

Smuggler's Bible  =  Running Dog/The Names/Mao II/White Noise

Fortunately, this breaks down with Americana and Great Jones Street, as McElroy hasn't written anything that uninteresting.
