...which I have heard stated as proof that Iraq does
not pose a real threat -- the US wouldn't risk an
invasion that might meet real resistance.  Enough to
provide some high-production-value fighterplane,
explosions, etc. videogame footage for the home front.
Body bags coming home will have a chilling effect and
possibly lead to unanticipated career discontinuities
for some politicians and government officials.
