I have recently been made aware of Thomas Pynchon. I have read 'Stone
Junction' by Jim Dodge with an introduction by Thomas Pynchon. Having
trawled the web and done a little reading around I am coming to the
conclusion that the place to start my initiation to his works should be the
'easier' read 'Crying of Lot 49'. Just want a simple yes or no as to
whether people think this is the best place to start?

Thanks in advance and if this post is out of order, feel free to tell me, I
won't sulk. Promise.
