Youth is wasted in protest

Not so sure about the masses of men and women 
living lives of desperate desire for fascism, but I
did find an interesting post or two from Dave Monroe
on that famous preface to Eros & Civilization by
Marcuse in the archives. 

The protest of youth is a bilogical necessity says
Marcuse. It's what P talks about in the  SL Intro and
in the INtro to Farina's novel BDSL. 

I think we need Freud here because P doesn't go in for
the dialctic of Marcuse and Norman O. Brown. 

So Frenesi rebells against the Left (her family) and
fights and betrays her sisters. See Love In The
Western World too. The father never quite buried but
only repressed returns to set things back in order. 

Yeah, Dave, possible possibliites, but I'm holding
onto that determinism because P attributes the death
instincet to a biologically fate and the poor crippled
consciousness of modern man.
