They had a chance to live, to renounce violence, to tell their
superior officers to fuck off, to throw away their guns and leave
the field of battle, and perhaps face a firing squad, but none the
less, live, but they did the "honorable" thing and remained dead.
They were failed by their clergymen who were likewise dead, if
it is possible, even more dead, parasitically dead, spreading
death, preaching death, infecting the minds and souls- if there
are souls- of the dead soldiers with the inspiration to stay dead
and never ever even consider the alternative to being dead. They
were death worshippers and cowards.
But I forgive them.
