A query on translation

<<You can say "interested on" in English. Lots of
people I know say thatand I know what they are talking
about. I'm interested on the subject of prepositions. 
Standing in/on/at the corner waiting to ride on/in the
bus to you, baby, to you. >>

I've never, not once, heard anyone say "interested
on."

Also, standing in the corner means something quite
different from standing on or standing at the corner
unlike, e.g., in line/on line.
