I lived and breathed that shit and even went to seminary school, breaking
through to some other sides in the process. Then, stumbling onto the likes
of Pynchon and Gaddis and others and seeing all of the shit used to create
art instead of destroying people's lives in the name of saving them, has
been a delight. But, it does leave me with strong opinions about the
imagery.
