Speaking from life experience with the asshole uncorked. That was then and
this is now, and now is a fucking blast compared to then. Like Slothrop in
reverse for me. Same end result. If I keep talking about this I'm going to
get Maundy with the Chaotic Chemistry which might get me fired. But I don't
want to go too far with the uroboros thing. Sucking one's own tail makes for
good fiction, but let it stop there please.

Yeah, I read his intros to the Part and several of the sections earlier this
morning and felt less embarrassed about my loose associations, but by the
time I finished I began to wonder if Steven should split the cork with me.
Nevertheless, although every time I try to put words to it it sounds like
Hallmarkian New Age pigtripe, something happens to me when I read Pynchon
closely, and it is powerful, and I'll shut up now.
