I don't know about that, but I do believe that any
reader can make her own interpretation of a given
text.

To make it clear, I mean that Pynchon's works are 
rich enough to sustain a very large number of
meaningful readings and in that way might be compared
to the Bible, to the way each Christian can come away
from the Bible with a different story.  The proof's
right here in the P-list "pudding"  where we often
talk about Pynchon the way those blind men talk about
the elephant: what it seems to be depends on which end
you've got ahold of.
