VLVL2(3): Hector's pinche fall

So what does "compinche" mean? Is it a real Spanish word or slang for
"fucking pinche comrade." It's funny to me. In California you hear a lot of
pinche this and pinche that. My brother, whose name was also Thomas, was
called "pinche Tomas" for fun.  I never heard "compinche" though...
