I know I was a few months ago.......One recalls reading Red Chief, 
Magi, and perhaps another in one's youth - what I had completely 
forgotten, or never noticed, is how engaging his prose style is....

Don't go anywhere NEAR biographical detail...in his case it is so 
dismaying....

Thanks for the heads up........Fuentes however, may be as  good a 
source as anyone else for the "final days of AB"......
