re Playboy Japan interview

The only "strange" thing about it is that Otto,
Mackin, Terrance, and jbor continue to spread the lie
that such an interview wasn't published, etc. 

Given the dynamics of this forum, it's not strange at
all that Otto, Mackin, Terrance, and jbor would
embrace ignorance and brain-dead denial just to
contradict something I've brought to the list's
attention. It's the sort of joke that toddlers find
funny. Ignorance is bliss. 

You can get a copy of the magazine from Playboy Japan,
I'm sure.  Get somebody you know in Japan to send you
a copy.  Have it translated. Find out what you can
about the circumstances of the interview and its
publication.  Send it on to senior Pynchon scholars
better equipped than the drooling Mr T to deal with
it. Re-invent the wheel, if you're able. Or remain
ignorant, as you like
