Just because people are into Pynchon doesn't mean they have a clue.

Terrance, "anti-Semitic" is a canard used to attempt to shut people 
down who criticize fashionable religions. Why are you such a fascist?

Fact is, this list isn't much "on topic" and it's probably a "good" 
thing. There's a lot of periphery in Pynchon, and a lot of issues to 
be resolved before approaching the text.
