Nietzsche & Domination

Nietzsche trusting in domination to settle issues of
power, authority, morality, is self-destructive
nihilism

Gnosticism is a dualistic system.

Eternal recurrence & Transvaluation

Nietzsche was no philosopher. He thought that the
death of god represented the end of a dualistic
alienation that separated man from the earth, from the
light, from the essence of a divine and otherworldly
Being onto which man projected the greatness of his
own existence and the beauty and blessedness of life
itself. If not replaced by some other dualism,
Nietzsche suspected, human integration would be
possible. The path to integration, Zarathustra
affirms, is embodied in the symbol of the
Übermensch-German term for "Overman" or "Superman." In
the philosophy of Nietzsche, an extraordinary
individual who transcends the limits of traditional
morality to live purely by the will to power.

Man, Nietzsche asserts in On the Genealogy of Morals,
prefers to Will nothingness than not to will at all.
Nihilism is such a powerful force in human affairs
that Nietzsche attributes its power, indirectly at
least, to the indoctrination of the human conscience
in the dualism between good and evil. Dualism
Nietzsche believed, is maintained by the power of
guilt and punishment.
