I have something to say when I have something to say,
is all I can say.  Y'all seemed to be doing fine
without me.  A slowdown happens and it's suddenly my
responsibility to do something about it?  Er ...

This from someone who periodically announces his
immanent departure, only to return shortly
thereafter--and, keep in mind, I always look forward
to the return, but ...--in other, crankier and/or more
cryptic guises?  Okay ...

Of course, when one's time tends to get wasted having
to shoo away extraneous annoyances, one tends to get
distracted.  No, unless I'm hosting, I check in, put
in whatever effort I'm up to, and get on with the
million other things I've got going on.  Some of 'em
are offline, even, e.g. ...
